"Joining Coach's Fitness Club is one of the best things I have ever done. I had visited some of the large fitness clubs but found the atmosphere to be very intimidating. I didn't know how to use the equipment and hiring a personal trainer was expensive. When I visited Coach's Fitness Club I found a very supportive environment. The owner Dan Neal took me around, showed me the equipment, explained how it worked and even help me develop a work out routine. The Freemotion equipment at Coach's Fitness Club has been great for me. They haven't aggravated old injuries like other machines and free weights have in the past, and I've lost weight and really improved my muscle tone in the 9 months I've been using them. Gary R, age 56, member for 3 years
I had knee replacement surgery a few years ago, and I needed to get more exercise. I had been told about Coach's Fitness by a fellow I once coached with, who had also coached Danny Neal in high school. The fitness center is only a short distance from my home so I decided to give it a try. I found Danny to be a very caring person who took the time to show each person the proper use of the exercise equipment. And, because he has experience in coaching football (only his experience was in the NFL); we had lots of fun talking about sports. After only 2 months of working out 3 days a week, I had lost sufficient girth to go down a whole size (2 inches) in the pants I wear to work out! I also have increased the strength in my knees to walk with more confidence without using my cane. I keep wanting to increase the weight I use to exercise, but he keeps telling me I'm not getting ready for a game on Sunday, I just need to think about improving my muscle tone. He is looking out for my best interest, and I appreciate his consideration. I've noticed he extends that same interest in the other folks who workout there as well. After a career that required a lot of travel and not much time for exercise, I decided that I needed to make exercise a priority. What I found was Coach's Fitness Club in Prospect. It had exactly what I was looking for: strength and aerobic training equipment set in a comfortable environment. There was no hard sell, just attention to what my fitness goals were and how to attain them. The staff was always helpful - not pushy - and have become friends. The other members provide a friendly atmosphere where you look forward to the daily repartee. That was 1 1/2 years ago and I'm hooked. I feel better and look forward to my daily workout. Bone health concern was my motivation to join Coach's Fitness Club. My doctor stressed the need for weight resistance, but I was reluctant to start "lifting". I had never been to a gym and was a bit intimidated. But what a pleasant surprise! The weight machines are very easy to handle and the staff is great. I'm making progress with the added bonus of much improved muscle tone (the double wave is gone) and better strength in a previously bum knee. I know that I am doing something good for my body. I am 66 and have been a member of Coach’s Fitness Club for more than 1 ½ years and have found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere with fellow members who make working out fun. The club has great equipment including FreeMotion workout machines, excellent treadmills, extremely important since I am a distance runner, as well as elliptical machines. Workout programs are individually designed and monitored by the Coach or his professional staff. I am a heart patient and recently had my six-month examination with my cardiologist and his recommendation was to “continue doing whatever you’re doing.” Since joining the Club, I’ve lost 20 pounds, built muscle and increased my energy level significantly. I’ve been a member of numerous fitness clubs over the past 30 years and have never experienced quality approaching the Coach’s Fitness Club. Bill - age 66 - member 1 1/2 years
